Global Heat warms up the Park

Free, Summer Concerts in the Park brings Global Heat to Ober Park, 7-9 p.m., Thursday, August 16. Check out this high energy, hip hop band, with cross-generational, cross-genre appeal that makes them a favorite of Seattle area audiences.

Internationally known lead artists include founding members of Circle of Fire and SoulShifters. Following an Art Institute of Seattle event, organizers said, "A hip-hoppin’ rock fusion funk rapping break dancing good time!"

Summer concerts in the Park are cosponsored by Vashon Park District and Vashon Allied Arts. Bring the family, picnics and beach chairs, but no alcohol in the Park please.
